Announing New VP of Sales and Market Development
Comfort Systems USA is pleased to announce the recent addition of Anthony Billups to the corporate service team. Anthony will be serving as Vice President of Sales and Market Development and will report directly to John Eberhardt, Senior VP of Service. He will continue our focus on building a robust service sales DNA and helping us to accelerate service growth across our operating companies.
Anthony holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Electrical Engineering Technology from Northeastern University. He also has a Master’s in Applied Mathematics & Statistics from Arizona State University.
Anthony is an executive P&L business leader with a strong sales leadership background. His first endeavor in sales came while in high school as a sneaker sales rep for footlocker. He went on to be a sneaker & apparel sales expert for Nike while in college working at Niketown. Anthony sold cars for Chrysler in Arizona while attending graduate school. Upon graduation, Anthony returned to NY and became a real estate sales specialist before joining United Technologies as a controls sales engineer in 2007.
From 2007 – 2021, Anthony worked for UTC/Carrier/ALC, JCI and Bosch taking on various roles ranging from sales engineer to North America Director of Sales responsible for $1Billion a year in sales.
Anthony has owned a P&L on 3 occasions, ranging from $30M to $100M. Most recently Anthony worked for Molekule as their Global VP of Commercial focused on product development and building out the commercial sales and operations team for a $100M Revenue - Private Equity backed Startup.
Anthony has over 20 years of (Business to Business / Business to Consumer) sales and business leadership experience in various vertical markets including sports & entertainment, stadiums/ arenas, K-12, universities, hospitals, government properties, banking, office buildings, residential etc. Anthony is from NYC but lived in Los Angeles, CA most recently for the last 6 years before moving to the Atlanta, GA area in August of 2021.
